About the role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Accounts payable to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles, hands-on experience with financial reporting, and the ability to manage day-to-day accounting operations with precision and integrity.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards.

  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.

  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IFRS standards and ensure proper implementation within the company's financial practices.

  • Prepare reports and reconciliations to ensure adherence to IFRS requirements.

  • Collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance with IFRS during external audits.

  • Maintain and oversee the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

  • Monitor and reconcile all balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Analyze financial data to provide insights for financial planning and decision-making.

  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company's financial assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.

  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to strengthen internal controls.

  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and filing requirements.

  • Collaborate with the tax team to support tax planning, reporting, and audits.

  • Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support business objectives.

  • Communicate financial results to senior management, offering explanations and guidance on trends and variances

Job requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Minimum 2-4 years of proven experience in an accounting role, preferably within the hospitality, real estate, or property management industry.

  • Solid knowledge of accounting regulations and standards (e.g., IFRS)

  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
