Carpenter / Mason

Deluxe Holiday Homes is seeking a talented Carpenter / Mason to join our Maintenance department. As a Carpenter you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This includes building frameworks, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs, as well as installing cabinets, shelves, and other woodwork.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
• Build and assemble frameworks and structures, such as walls, floors, and doorframes.
• Install structures and fixtures, including windows, doors, cabinets, and siding.
• Ensure structural integrity and compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Repair and maintain existing structures and fixtures.
• Perform tasks such as sanding, staining, and sealing wood.
• Replace damaged or rotting wood in structures.
• Operate hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and sanders.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Ensure proper safety measures are followed while using tools and equipment.

Requirements:

• Proven Experience as a Carpenter or Mason
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program preferred.
• Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Physical strength and stamina.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
