Job description

Deluxe Holiday Homes is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Assistant to join our growing team!

Responsibilities

Helpdesk & Ticketing (ClickUp)

  • Log every issue as a ClickUp ticket; triage, prioritize, and resolve within agreed SLAs.

  • Keep stakeholders updated; provide weekly volume/SLA reports.

Hardware & Device Lifecycle

  • Install, update, and remove workstations, laptops, printers, mobiles, tablets, and peripherals as required.

  • Imaging, patching, basic repairs; manage spares, warranties, etc.

  • Maintain accurate asset inventory and renewal calendars.

Accounts, Access & Passwords

  • Provision/modify/revoke access for HubSpot, PMS, Google Workspace, Remote Desktops, Airbnb, Booking.com, and other critical tools.

  • Assist with password updates/resets and MFA troubleshooting; enforce least-privilege.

Routine Maintenance & Backups

  • Apply OS/app updates; verify endpoint protection health.

  • Perform weekly backup/restore checks on SIP/VoIP and Remote Desktop servers; escalate anomalies.

Network & Security (first line)

  • Basic LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN troubleshooting and incident triage; escalate when needed.

  • Enforce baseline controls (AV, updates, disk encryption) and assist with UAE data-privacy compliance.

Proactive Monitoring & Light Automation

  • Daily health checks on servers/services; respond to alerts.

  • Create small scripts/automations (PowerShell/Bash) for repetitive tasks and reports.

Documentation, Onboarding & Training

  • Keep runbooks/KBs current; maintain change logs.

  • Deliver IT onboarding for new hires and short “how-to” sessions.

Procurement Coordination

  • Open/track requests; manage quotes, orders, and renewals.

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and common software applications.

  • Good understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Previous experience in IT support (internship or entry-level) is an advantage.

  • A degree or diploma in Information Technology or related field is preferred.
