About the role:
We are seeking a hands-on Operations Manager with a strong background in project management and maintenance/fit-out to oversee onboarding for our interior design projects. This role involves driving to multiple project sites daily, coordinating with internal teams and external contractors, and ensuring timely, high-quality completion of fit-out and maintenance tasks. You must be self-managed, proactive, and willing to work overtime when necessary.
Responsibilities:
Project & Operational Oversight
Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new properties requiring interior design and fit-out work.
Oversee timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring all tasks align with project goals.
Maintenance & Fit-Out Coordination
Coordinate with maintenance teams and third-party contractors to obtain quotations, negotiate terms, and supervise on-site work.
Conduct quality checks and final inspections to guarantee adherence to brand standards and design specifications.
Site Management & Mobility
Drive to different locations daily to monitor progress, resolve on-site issues, and maintain real-time communication with project stakeholders.
Ensure that all safety and compliance regulations are met on each site.
Team Leadership & Accountability
Oversee Project Managers, ensuring they meet deadlines and manage resources effectively.
Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to drive team efficiency and engagement.
Supplier & Vendor Relations
Source and vet suppliers for materials, furniture, and other design elements.
Negotiate contracts, track deliveries, and resolve any vendor-related issues promptly.
Reporting & Process Improvement
Prepare regular status reports, including budget tracking, timelines, and quality metrics for management review.
Identify areas for operational improvement, recommending process enhancements to increase efficiency and quality.

Job requirements
Requirements:
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
3–5 years of project management experience in fit-out, maintenance, or related industries (hospitality, construction, real estate).
Technical Skills
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, ClickUp, or similar).
Understanding of design/fit-out processes, supplier management, and construction/maintenance protocols.
Mandatory Requirements
Must possess a valid UAE driving license and have a personal vehicle to travel between sites daily.
Willingness to work overtime or extended hours if necessary to meet project deadlines.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and remain organized under pressure.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication skills (spoken and written English) for liaising with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Strong negotiation abilities and a problem-solving mindset.
Self-driven with a demonstrated capacity to work independently and make informed decisions on the fly.
