QA Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer  who will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through meticulous testing and attention to detail. Working closely with our development team, you will be responsible for crafting comprehensive test plans, executing test cases, and identifying and reporting software defects. Your contributions will directly impact the overall guest experience and operational efficiency, enabling us to deliver unparalleled service to our guests and property owners alike.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to verify software functionality;

2. Implement testing frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency, with a focus both on API testing and user interface testing;

3. Identify and report software defects, working closely with the development team to resolve issues;

4. Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure that all defects are addressed and resolved;

5. Verify releases and provide post-launch analytics to assess defect leakage and overall product quality;

6. Develop and maintain documentation related to quality control processes and procedures;

7. Participate in the development process, providing input on improving code quality and overall software product;

8. Engage in backlog refinement and technical grooming meetings to ensure test requirements are adequately addressed;

9. Collaborate with users to address and validate reported bugs, ensuring thorough investigation and validation before escalating issues to the development team;

10. Communicate effectively with the development team and other stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, to ensure clear understanding of testing goals and results.

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on API testing;

2. Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Postman, TestRail, etc;

3. Familiarity with automation testing frameworks and tools is a plus (Selenium; JMeter; etc.);

4. Proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills for writing accurate test cases and communicating effectively with the team;

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail;

6. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team;

7. Proactive attitude towards learning and adopting new testing methodologies and technologies.
