About the Role:
The Maintenance Storekeeper will be responsible for managing and organizing all maintenance materials, tools, and spare parts to ensure smooth daily operations. This role involves receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing maintenance inventory accurately and efficiently. The Storekeeper will also maintain proper records, track stock levels, coordinate with the maintenance team for material requirements, and ensure compliance with safety and storage standards

Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Management:

  • Maintain and update inventory of MEP spares, tools, and consumables.

  • Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase requisitions or reorders as needed.

  • Conduct monthly stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.

  • Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and organized for easy retrieval.

2. System & Reporting:

  • Record and track material usage through Inflow Inventory or CAFM systems.

  • Update PMS (Preventive Maintenance Schedule) material data as per technician reports.

  • Generate and submit daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.

  • Verify and close open POs, ensuring timely restocking and accurate documentation.

3. Procurement & Coordination:

  • Coordinate with the procurement team to raise and track purchase orders.

  • Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and delivery drivers to ensure timely receipt of materials.

  • Support the maintenance team in identifying correct parts and technical materials.

  • Maintain communication with technicians and the bookkeeping team for status updates.

4. Receiving & Issuing:

  • Verify incoming materials and spares for quantity, quality, and specifications.

  • Issue materials to technicians based on job requests while maintaining proper records.

  • Track consumables and ensure issuance aligns with PMS and maintenance requirements.

5. Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure storage areas are organized, safe, and compliant with company and safety policies.

  • Follow proper handling, storage, and labeling procedures for all materials, including hazardous ones.

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma/degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Management preferred.

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in an MEP or Facilities environment.

  • Basic technical knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.

  • Experience with CAFM and/or inventory management software.

  • Knowledge of safety and compliance standards for material storage.
