Warehouse Delivery Driver

The Warehouse Delivery Driver is responsible for safely transporting goods to customers, ensuring accurate order preparation, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The role includes loading and unloading goods, verifying deliveries against invoices, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, following safety regulations, and supporting warehouse operations to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Safely load, transport, and deliver goods to customers in a timely manner.

• Verify delivery items against invoices, delivery notes, and customer orders.

• Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure on-time deliveries.

• Obtain customer signatures and proof of delivery where required.

• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct basic daily maintenance checks.

• Report any vehicle issues, delivery delays, damages, or discrepancies to the supervisor immediately.

• Assist with loading and unloading of goods at the warehouse and customer locations.

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for dispatch.

• Ensure proper handling of goods to prevent damage during transportation.

• Provide friendly, professional, and courteous customer service at all times.

• Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery schedules, updates, or issues.

• Address customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints in a polite and solution-oriented manner.

• Report customer feedback, complaints, or service issues to management promptly.

• Follow company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures.

• Perform any additional related duties as assigned by the Manager.

Requirements:

• Valid UAE driving license.

• Previous experience in delivery driving or warehouse operations preferred.

• Good knowledge of UAE roads and traffic regulations.

• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.

• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Basic knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Word.

• Commitment to ensuring cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.

• Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.

• Effective communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
